Germany's highest railroad bridge - the Müngsten Bridge - crosses the Wupper between Solingen and Wuppertal. A landscape park has been created along the Wupper as part of the Regionale 2006 structural development program. A path leads from the Müngsten Bridge to Burg Castle.

The aim is to make this main hiking trail and the landscape park more accessible and easier to experience for blind and visually impaired people, people with disabilities and visitors in general.
